What is WinHalf?

Winhalf is a ticketing system that completely optimizes fundraising activities driven by raffles, 50/50 raffles, and Split-The-Pots. It minimizes overhead costs, risks in handling cash and tickets, improves transaction transparency, decreases fraud, and creates the ability for more funds to be raised through easier participation from patrons.

How does a raffle work?

When you setup a raffle, you will be able to select the start time, closing time, and the time to select the winner. You can also customize the ticket purchase options.

When the raffle starts, your participants will be able to start buying tickets and watch the pot grow. When the pot closes, participants will not be able to purchase more tickets.

At the time you selected, our system will automatically select the winner and they will receive a text message from WinHalf saying they have the winning ticket in your raffle. Also, any administators on your WinHalf account will get a text message with the winner's information to allow them to reach out and organize payment.

Winhalf is simply a ticketing system and as long as your organization can legally host and run raffles, you're fine.

Is it hard to set up?

Winhalf is easy to set up! With just a flew clicks you have an end-to-end solution. You will need to set up a free Stripe Account which only takes a few minutes: (From Stripe's Site: Once you activate your Stripe account (which you can do in about five minutes), you can use all our functionality -- normal payments, web payments, mobile payments, and, yes, recurring payments). Will I still need volunteers/workers?

If you are accepting Credit Cards, then NO! Otherwise, you can setup onsite volunteers to accept cash entries and use our SMS messages to confirm your users tickets.

Where can people view my raffle?

Simply display your unique URL (that you can customize) on your materials, at your event, and by word of mouth and you're good to go.

How should I think about WinHalf?

Can I use it for raffles (e.g. not just split-the-pot)?

As long as it fits under your organizations legal guidelines, you can use WinHalf for any raffle or split-the-pot.

Do I have to know how to code?

Absolutely not.

You can use any logo you'd like, and even customize the colors!

Can I create more than one event per month?

You can create as many events as you'd like!
